This page is a work in progress and I have not yet decided what direction it will take.  For a deeper explanation of wayang kulit, I will refer you to the Wayang page(s) but they have not even been started.

The beautiful images of the wonderful puppets below this paragraph are from the Yale Art Gallery, used by permission, and there are many many more images in that collection.  The image at the top of this page is a puppet in the Wayang Museum in Jakarta.
